Fun Festivals in Michigan for Labor Day
Summer has flown by and Labor Day is upon us already. Looking for a fun way to celebrate the last weekend of summer? Well, break out your white dress or seersucker suit and check out these local fun-fests happening Labor Day Weekend!
The Romeo Peach Festival is the second oldest festival in the state! Every Labor Day weekend, Romeo hosts many events based around its prized crop, the peach. Events include parades, bed races, craft shows and more.
The 22nd annual Arts, Beats, & Eats will take place in Downtown Royal Oak on Labor Day weekend, 8/30 through 9/2. The festival offers more than 200 performances on 9 stages, a highly ranked Juried Fine Arts Show, and local restaurants with some of the finest cuisine in Metro Detroit.
The BlueChiliGrass Festival is held Sunday and Labor Day Monday annually at Goodells County Park, Goodells MI. Local restaurant chefs and caterers compete in a chili cook off contest. Diverse musical genres on two stages as well as Artisan booths and vendors.
The Mackinac Bridge will be closed to public traffic from 6:30 a.m. to noon on Labor Day to accommodate the 2019 Annual Bridge Walk.
