The Michigan Philharmonic at the Metroparks is a spectacular outdoor event where visitors can enjoy the sounds of talented musicians while enjoying the beauty of the Metroparks. Our natural, scenic views married with the beautiful music of the Michigan Philharmonic is a symphony for your senses.
This year the Michigan Philharmonic will perform music from some of your favorite movies. Enjoy a music from classic movies, some Disney favorites and much more. In addition to the concert, Greenwood Farms Clydesdale horses will join us for photo opportunities. Food vendors will be on hand to purchase dinner or a snack.
So grab your family and friends, your blankets and chairs, and join us for an evening of music and memories.
This highly-anticipated summer festival will return much of its programming including Family Night produced by Operation Transformation, Boat Night, Fireworks, The Mcdonagh Amusement Carnival, Live Music and other features. The festival’s unique feature will remain the magnificent display of boats lined up in advance of the 2017 Bell’s Beer Bayview Mackinac Race kick-off on Saturday, July 22nd, and once again festival admission will be free to the general public.
This year’s highlights include local and national music from many genres, The return of Advia Credit Union Taste of Port Huron, the return of Family Night presented by Kroger, and the Kroger Imagination Station, the return of the Ferris Wheel on Main Street, Family night fireworks sponsored by Chemical Bank and Blue Water Convention and Visitors Bureau the Lighted Boat Parade presented by McLaren Port Huron and the pageantry of The Bell’s Beer Bayview Mackinac Race.
In the Harvey Kern Pavilion in Heritage Park. A celebration of music. Polka, Polish, German & Slovenian style music. Food, drinks & dancing on a wooden floor. Featuring the Fabulous Hubcaps August 18th-19th.
The Woodward Dream Cruise event is a classic car event held annually on the third Saturday of August in Metropolitan Detroit, along Woodward Avenue. The WDC Event spans much of the avenue, from Pontiac through Ferndale in Oakland County, Michigan, all the way to the State Fair Grounds inside the Detroit city limits, just south of 8 Mile Road.
The Chesterfield Arts & Music Festival will be bringing in vendors from various forms of the arts and crafts world to showcase their talents right here in Chesterfield Township on August 26 and 27, 2017 at Brandenburg Park. In 2016, we had over 65 vendors along the shoreline displaying their work.
